Report filter results range from basic to highly specific.

A variety of filters come with Retail Pro. A filter element (i.e., Department) and criteria (i.e., Jackets) determine what information appears in a report. Filters are easily modified or created. Filter criteria can be predefined, or can be entered when the report is run.

Filter criteria are fundamental to any reporting, as when limiting a report by store, department, or vendor. Filter options include free-form criteria (string of characters); dynamic date ranges ("month to date"); include/exclude options ("all except jewelry"); status criteria ("open orders"); And/Or statements (to link otherwise unrelated information) as well as others.
