Real-time sales information with Pulse!

Pulse! keeps a running tally of cumulative sales for each station in the store, and/or each store on a network, and displays the information on the manager’s desktop. Consequently, at any time during the day, store management can access Pulse! for a real-time report of current sales – the “pulse” of their retail business.

By simply clicking the Pulse! icon on the desktop the Pulse! reports tool will show running totals of sales, discounts and margins displayed by store, workstation, department, vendor, associate, cashier, tender or hour of the day.

Furthermore, management has the ability to view a detailed summary broken down by a single value, while the additional values are viewable via a colorful scrolling marquee located at the bottom of the Pulse! report.

Real-time inventory information with Pulse!

Pulse! makes sure that all sales recorder at a store or station within a store are accounted for the entire company, ensuring that current on-hand quantities are accurate at every station, for all stores.

Updated customer information with Pulse!

Pulse! also updates customer store credit balances and last sales date for customers at each station. This is all done automatically in the background as Pulse! is running, and requires no action on the part of management.

Pulse! Across Wide Area Networks

Retailers can use Pulse! across a wide-area net-work. For example, Pulse! can be installed on a manager’s computer in Tokyo and through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) the manager can see the New York store sales results as they occur in "real-time". Therefore, company management can “take the pulse” of any store connected via the network.

Tender Alerts Help Shrinkage

Pulse! can monitor tender volume and alert you when a specific tender has reached a predefined amount. This ability allows the retailer to perform Cash Drops and remove large amounts of cash from a workstation and minimizing the loss of till-tapping and employee theft.
