The cost of a Retail Pro system includes the software, hardware equipment to run it, and the services of installation, training and support to put the program into effective use.

The price paid by a particular store for the system depends upon the number of users, number of stores, type of hardware, etc. A form is provided below to obtain a cost estimate for your particular store. Click HERE to go directly to form.

Most Retail Pro clients - even those who bought direct rather than through a lease - report that the system paid for itself within about six months because of improved sales volume, margins and efficiency. For most retailers the cost of not having the system is considerably greater than the cost of acquiring it.

Many Retail Pro clients have acquired the system by leasing - it is not necessary to pay for it all at once. Leases give a monthly payment which is typically a fraction of the direct financial benefit of implementing the system.

Buying direct, a smaller store might make a one-time investment of 2-3% of a year's sales volume to purchase a complete Retail Pro system including training and support. This percent would tend to drop for larger stores. The life of the equipment could be estimated at 5 years. The Retail Pro software license is permanent and never needs to be purchased again, other than to add new stores. Program updates including all new software features, are part of the small membership fee.
